MCB

A miniature circuit breaker (MCB) is the resettable protective switch found in household distribution boards. It trips and opens the circuit when the current exceeds its rating, and unlike a fuse it can be switched back on once the fault is cleared. Circuits with this tag are mostly building-wiring exercises: protecting lighting and socket circuits, showing what happens during an overload or a short circuit, and comparing an MCB with a fuse in the same position.
