Logic Gate
Logic gates take high or low input voltages and produce an output set by a Boolean rule: AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR, XOR or XNOR. Circuits with this tag build truth tables with switches as inputs and lamps or LEDs as outputs, combine gates into half adders, comparators and combination locks, and show that NAND or NOR gates alone can make every other function. For example, "AND to NAND Gate" follows an AND gate with an inverter and compares the two outputs for each input combination.
